Ski Touring Packages

Early Season (Storm Season): January 11-15, 2027
Our January ski touring program offers a quiet, immersive way to experience Skeena’s remote northern terrain. Explore with experienced guides, with each route shaped by the best snow and conditions of the day. Mid-winter in Northern BC brings cold temperatures, deep, dry snow and an ideal setting for experiencing the backcountry at its quietest.  At $500/day this is our most reasonably priced ski holiday at Skeena, but guests still receive the same high quality meals and comfortable glamping accommodation at Base Camp (Massage therapist, sauna, hot tub, great wine list etc.)

Post-Season Cat-Assisted Ski Touring: March 27-31, 2027
Our cat-assisted ski touring program gives guests drop off in the morning at a high peak or ridge, and then two cat rides in late afternoon on the way home to Base Camp. The integrity of a quiet ski touring day remains the theme of the experience, but with 3 extra ski runs in the snowcat – which means approximately 3000-4000 (900-1200 meters) extra vertical feet of downhill skiing each day. The long days of late March in Northern BC is an excellent time of year to enjoy cat assisted ski touring. At $800/day this is a reasonably priced ski holiday at Skeena – but guests still receive the same high quality meals and comfortable glamping accommodation at Base Camp (Massage therapist, sauna, hot tub, great wine list etc.) Access to/from Base Camp is via helicopter.

Women’s
Cat‑Assisted
Ski Touring

March 23 -26, 2027

Created as a women-only experience, this four-day trip is about more than ski touring — it’s a chance to spend time in the mountains, connect with other women and return to Base Camp each day to slow down, recover and recharge.

With women making up our guiding team, cat driver, massage therapist and most of the Base Camp crew, the experience is designed around great skiing, shared time in the mountains and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.

Guests can choose between a more ambitious touring group or a relaxed, social pace. Each day begins with a snowcat ride to a peak or ridge, followed by ski touring through quiet backcountry terrain. The cat reconnects with the group later in the day for additional laps, adding approximately 800–900 vertical metres of downhill skiing.

Back at Base Camp, settle into comfortable yurt-style accommodations with gourmet meals, hot tub, sauna and massage therapy.

Touring. Connection. Recovery.
